Hi,

    There are two instances A and B at same mount point (same location like /san/db) on production server.And there are two dbs under A instance and one db under B instance.

Last week we faced some issue with mount point so all dbs became down.Thats why need to seperate both instance on different locations. On getting one down will not affect another one.Atleast rest of the dbs will be UP.

How I can seperate one instance to another mount point (another location like /new/db).

How to move instance. What are the steps?

We can move database,tablespaces with the help of db2relocatedb tool but how to move instance???

Plz reply ASAP.....
