DB2 Version : V9.5 fixpack 5

problem summary :

SQL1427N An instance attachment does not exist.


I installed db2 version 9.5 fp 5 on linux environment and created the instance db2inst1.

Then I started the DB2 process using "db2start".

after that when I execute "db2 get dbm cfg show detail " the above error exists.

But "db2 get dbm cfg" command is working.


Can anyone please suggest how to resolve the issue

First:
db2 attach to instance_name

Then:
db2 get dbm cfg show detail
