Hi,

DB2 Express-C is not starting. SQL6031N reason code 10.

I noticed that db2nodes.cfg is not on c:\program files\ibm\sqllib. I tried to create it manually with 0 localhost 0 but did not work.

Please let me know if you have any idea to fix it.

Hello Elder,

Edit the db2nodes.cfg file to write the following line:

0 <machine_name> 0

On Windows you can discover the machine name in: My Computer > properties

And Linux and Aix you can discover the machine name typing : hostname

I changed db2nodes.cfg content from 0 localhost 0 to 0 elder-notebook 0, where elder-notebook is machine name. Unfortunatelly didn't help much.

I droped and recreated the instance and it started to wok.
