         Please tell me exact meaning of below approaches.


1-Log Shipping


2-Mirroring


3-Replication


Which is the best approach for recovery of database.

Helow Pawan, below some definitions, see the words in italic to understand the differences:  



LOG SHIPPING: Log shipping is a method where transaction logs are automatically
backed up from a primary DB2 server and made accessible to a standby
server. DIFFERENT SERVERS - ALL DATABASE


MIRRORING: Data mirroring is the automatic replication of current data from
your primary site to a secondary site. SAME SERVER - ALL DATABASE


REPLICATION:  Data replication is the copying of data from a source table to one or more target tables and synchronizing the changes in the source to the target. DIFFERENT SERVERS OR SAME SERVER - REPLICATION AMONG TABLES.


 


DOENS'T NOT EXIST THE BETTER SLOLUTION, IT IS DEPEND OF YOU PROBLEM
